pretty sure the xlr uses smaller diameter header pipes ,so dont think a xr silencer would go on without any modification,
but sure you could fit a full xr250 exhaust,would probably pep it up a bit

 

Ok thanks will have a look for a full xr250 exhaust, what modifications would I need to do to fit just the xr
Silencer would it just be a case of welding it on

 

without having a set of xrl headers and a xr silencer in front of me its hard to say exactly,
but i wouldnt think welding the 2 together would be your best solution,and could cause problems fitting and removing it as one piece,
i would think some sort of collar to increase the diameter of the xrl headers so they fit tightly into the xr silencer would be a better idea,
wouldnt expect much improvement in performance from just changing the silencer though,think the xrl headers are a bit small and restrictive,
if your after a performance increase i'd change the lot,

 

Ok thanks I will have a look about, performance increase would be nice but I'm not to bothered just need a new exhaust as mine has blown and its taking a while to find another xlr250 exhaust/silencer haha
